Does insurance cover hail damage?
Comprehensive coverage pays for hail damage. Liability and collision coverage do not. If comprehensive is on your policy, hail is one of the specific events it exists to cover.
Which part of the policy applies
Comprehensive covers damage that is not the result of a collision — hail, wind, falling objects, fire, theft. Hail falls squarely inside it. Collision coverage applies to impacts with another vehicle or object, and liability covers damage you cause to someone else, so neither is relevant to a hailstorm.
What we handle on the claim
We contact your insurance company, document the damage panel by panel with Light Booth inspection, prepare the report, and negotiate with the adjuster directly. Nothing is authorised without your approval, and the repair does not start until the claim is cleared.
If comprehensive is not on your policy
You can still have the car repaired. We offer cash pricing and payment plans. Adding comprehensive coverage after a storm will not cover damage the car already has, so it is worth checking your policy before hail season rather than after.
