Steel panels, straightforward repair

Most Lexus body panels are steel, which takes PDR predictably and generally moves through the shop faster than a mixed-material body. That is true across RX, GX, LX and ES.

The gaps are the giveaway

Lexus is known for panel gaps that are noticeably tighter than most competitors — it is one of the things buyers notice on the lot. Removing trim or working close to a panel edge without disturbing that fit is part of what we check before starting, since a repair that fixes the dents but loosens the gap is not a repair a Lexus owner will accept.
